شرکت مهران طب مد (صنایع بیمارستانی مهران) به عنوان اولین تولید کننده انواع تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCUبیمارستانی و دیگر تجهیزات بیمارستانی در ایران با سابقه بيش از 60 سال و تولید بیش از 50 نوع محصول در سال 1330 با تلاش آقای کاظم اکبری نخجوانی فعالیت خود را با ساخت اولین محفظه کبالت به سفارش پرفسور افشاری - متخصص رایولوژی - آغاز نمودند. ایشان پس از اتمام موفقیت آمیز این پروژه - که از جمع آوری اطلاعات تا ساخت یک نمونه و اهدای آن به ایشان در ظرف سه ماه به انجام رسید - اقدام به طراحی و ساخت نگاتسکوپ نموده و موفق به ساخت مدلهای تک خانه, دوخانه, سه خانه و پنج خانه شدند - که تا آن زمان از کشور آلمان محصول کارخانه فیلیپس وارد کشور میشد -. با توجه به گسترش فعالیت, به منظور ساخت انبوه محصولات,مانند تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCU اقدام به اجاره کارگاهی در خیابان هاشمی تهران نمودند. در طی این سالها با توجه با ابتکار و پشتکار ایشان, از طرف پرفسور افشاری و دکتر ارباب زاده به جمعیت هلال احمر(شیر و خورشید آن زمان) معرفی میگردند تا مراحل طراحی و ساخت تختهای بیمارستانی را که از کشور کره به صورت هوایی با هزینه بسیار زیاد وارد کشور می شد انجام دهند. به همین منظور و همچنین به منظور افزایش کیفیت و کمیت و رفع نیاز جامعه به تجهیزات بیمارستانی و خودکفایی کشور در این زمینه, ایشان با خرید زمینی به مساحت 2500 متر مربع در جاده قدیم کرج اقدام به ساخت کارخانه شرکت مهران طب مد در سال 1347 نمودند.
آقای کاظم اکبری نخجوانی در تاریخ 1348/6/29 موفق به دریافت پروانه تاسیس به شماره 863/240/ف از وزارت اقتصاد آن زمان شدند.
همچنین ایشان در تاریخ 1352/7/30 موفق به عضویت در اتحادیه صنف آهنسازان با شماره کارت 0177 گردیدند.
درتاریخ 1355/10/15 شناسنامه صنعتی به شماره 356498 از طرف وزارت صنایع و معادن با ظرفیت 170 تن در سال به منظور تولید انبوه انواع محصولات بیمارستانی مانند تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCUبرای ایشان صادرگردید.
تولید انبوه تخت های بیمارستانی با کیفیت بالا با در نظر گرفتن الزامات استاندارد نیاز به ماشین آلات مناسب دارد, در این راستا تجهیزات مورد نیاز از کشورهای سویس, ایتالیا و انگلستان تهیه گردید و برق 400 آمپر مورد نیاز دستگاهها دریافت شد. و با توجه به اهمیت پوشش روی تجهیزات بیمارستانی اقدام به نصب و راه اندازی تجهیزات رنگ کوره ای برای اولین بار در ایران در این صنعت گردید.
بدین ترتیب دهه 1350 آغاز توجه ویژه به طراحی و کیفیت محصولات شرکت مهران طب مد به شمار میرود. در این دهه تا آغاز انقلاب اسلامی ایران حدود 6000 تخت بیمارستانی از انواع تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCU به جمعیت هلال احمر(شیروخورشید آن زمان) تحویل گردید.
در انتهای دهه 1350 و ابتدای دهه 1360 پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی علی رغم شرایط جنگی نه تنها شرکت مهران طب مد تولید خود را متوقف نکرد بلکه تمام توان خود را در راستای امداد رسانی و تدارک تجهیزات بیمارستانهای صحرایی و بیمارستانهای شهرهای مرزی, قرار داد که از آن جمله میتوان به عنوان نمونه به ساخت و تحویل حدود 12000 عدد برانکارد صحرایی در دو مرحله، يك هزار پاراوان و ششصد ست تخت بيمارستاني از انواع تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCU به سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی اشاره کرد.
همچنین در این شرایط بنا به نیاز مجروحین جنگی بخصوص جانبازان قطع نخاعی اقدام به طراحی و ساخت تخت سه شکن ریکاوری با قابلیت تنظیم به صورت صندلی گردید که پس از تایید سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی ایران به تولید انبوه رسیده و جهت استفاده جانبازان به ایشان تحویل گردید.
در این سالها پروژه های متعددی از قبیل تجهیز بیمارستانها, درمانگاه ها و خانه های بهداشت توسط وزارت بهداشت درمان و آموزش پزشکی و سازمان تامین اجتماعی با همکاری گسترده شرکت مهران طب مد اجرا گردید.
در دهه 1370 شرکت مهران طب مد تلاش گسترده ای را برای بهینه کردن محصولات با رویکرد افزایش طول عمـــــــــــــــــر آنها آغاز نمود که دراین راستا شعار ( محصولات شرکت مهران طب مد نباید اسقاط شود ) را مطرح و با افزایش توان ارائه خدمات پس از فروش، به آن عمل نمود.
در سال 1370 با فارغ التحصیلی مهندس فرزین اکبری نخجوانی در دو رشته کاردانی جوشکاری و کارشناسی مکانیک در طراحی جامدات توان جدیدی به بخش طراحی و تولید شرکت مهران طب مد افزوده شد.
در این زمان با اجرای پروژه های بهداشتی درمانی برون مرزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، کیفیت بالای محصولات شرکت مهران طب مد تا بدان حد مورد توجه مسئولین قرار گرفت که به منظور حفظ منزلت و مقام کشور در سطح بین الملل اقدام به تجهیز آن مراکز توسط محصولات شرکت مهران طب مد نمودند. که از آن جمله میتوان به بیمارستانهای شهرهای مکه و مدینه که توسط اداره کل بهداری استان تهران تجهیز گردید, اشاره نمود.
با افزایش تعداد مشتریان, بالا بردن توان شرکت در برآورده کردن نیاز ایشان با هرسلیقه ای, زمینه ساز تولید انواع تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCU و محصولات متنوع در تیراژ بالا گردید. انجام این امر در فضای تولید با پرسنل موجود شرکت مقدور نبود. بنابر این شرکت مهران طب مد اقدام به احداث کارخانه جدیدی در زمینی به وسعت 5000 مترمربع و 1500 مترمربع فضای تولید نمود تا بتواند با بهره گیری از پرسنل جدید و آموزش آنها این امر را محقق نماید.
در دهه 1380 در گامی دیگر جهت نیل به اهداف عالیه سازمان, شرکت مهران طب مد اقدام به بررسی سیستمهای مدیریت کیفیت در ساخت تجهیزات بیمارستانی - ISO 9001-2000 ISO13485-2003 - با نمایندگی مهندس فرزین اکبری نخجوانی نمود و با انتخاب مشاور مراحل بستر سازیِ استقرار این سیستمها از قبیل آموزش پرسنل, مستند سازی و... را فراهم آورد. پس از انجام کلیه امور و جاری شدن مستندات استاندارد و ممیزی داخلی در نهایت شرکت مهران طب مد در سال 1383 برای اولین بار در ایران موفق به دریافت گواهی نامه های استاندارد مدیریت کیفیت ISO9001-2000 وISO13485-2003 در ساخت تجهیزات بیمارستانی از جمله از انواع تخت بیمارستانی یک شکن، تخت بیمارستانی دوشکن، تخت بیمارستانی سه شکن، تخت بیمارستانی ویژه بخشهای ICU و CCU گردید.
هم زمان با استقرار سیستمهای مدیریت کیفیت در صنایع بیمارستانی مهران به منظور بالا بردن سطح کیفیت و ماندگاری رنگ محصولات اقدام به جایگذینی سیستم رنگ پودر الکترواستاتیکی به جای رنگ کوره ای در کارخانه جدید دیگری به وسعت 5000 مترمربع و 2000 متر مربع فضای تولید نمود تا این شرکت در کیفیت, تنوع و تیراژ محصولات - بیش از 50 نوع محصول - و همچنین وسعت فضای تولید - 5000 مترمربع - همچنان در ایران بدون رقیب باقی بماند.
در این دهه, بحرانی شدن ساخت تجهیزات بیمارستانی بی کیفیت بخصوص تخت یک شکن، تتخ دوشکن، تخت سه شکن و تخت های ویژه ICU و CCU از طرف شرکتهای فاقد صلاحیت و بلاتکلیفی و سردرگمی خریداران این محصولات, شرکت مهران طب مد را بر آن داشت تا به عنوان شرکت پیشرو و با تجربه در این زمینه, طرح تدوین استانداردهای مورد نیاز تجهیزات بیمارستانی را در سال 1383 به موسسه استاندارد و تحقیقات صنعتی ایران ارائه نماید. با بررسی و تایید آن موسسه محترم در سال 1385 شرکت مهران طب مد با تکیه به دانش فنی, استانداردهای موجود بین المللی, تجربه پنجاه ساله و توان اجرایی بالای خود اقدام به برنامه ریزی و هماهنگی برگزاری جلسات اولیه, فنی و نهایی تدوین استاندارد بر اساس جدول زمان بندی نموده و از شهریور 1386 این برنامه را به مرحله اجرا گذاشته است که ظرف مدت هشت ماه استانداردهای تدوین شده - که در مرحله اول بالغ بر استاندارد دوازده محصول بود - را به منظور تصویب نهایی به شورای عالی تدوین استاندارد تقدیم کرد.
همچنين در راستاي گسترش بازار محصولات خود به خارج از مرزهاي ايران این شرکت بر اساس استانداردهای هماهنگ اتحادیه اروپا و رهنمودهای آن به تهیه تکنیکال فایل های کامل محصولات پرداخت و موفق به اخذ نشان CE گردید.
آخرین اقدام این شرکت در این سال در راستای افزایش هرچه بیشتر کیفیت و کمیت محصولات خود, در زمینه رنگ آنها بود.
استقرار خط رنگ اتوماتیک پودری الکترو استاتیکی به جای سیستم رنگ پودری الکترو استاتیکی دستی این امکان را فراهم می کند که قطعات قبل از رنگ سه مرحله شستشو, چربیگیری و فسفاته را به صورت اتوماتیک طی نمایند. انجام این مراحل علاوه بر بالا بردن مقاومت قطعه در مقابل زنگ زدگی باعث ایجاد چسبندگی بسیار بالای رنگ به آنها گردیده و طول عمرشان را افزایش قابل توجهی میدهد.
با استقرار این خط جدید ظرفیت اسمی شرکت به تولید 240 تخت در روز افزایش یافته است.
رویکردهای زیست محیطی و بهداشتی نشعت گرفته از تفکر مدیریت این شرکت مقدمه بررسی استاداردهای سری 14000 و 18000 ISO توسط دفتر تضمین کیفیت این شرکت در سال 1387 گردید. پس از بررسی مقدماتی و نهایی به منظور استقرار این استانداردها طی عقد قراردادی با شرکت مشاور مورد تایید وزارت صنایع و معادن اقدام به تشکیل دوره های آموزشی, توجیهی و مستند سازی نمود که پس از انجام این مراحل این شرکت در افتخاری دیگر موفق به دریافت اولین استداردهای ISO 14001 و OHSAS 18001 در صنف تولید کنندگان تجهیزات پزشکی در ایران در آبان ماه 1388 گردید.
